With a HUGE win over the Santa Rosa Lady Lions, the Lady Jackets secured the title of Regular Season District Champions, earning an automatic bid to state. 🏆🧡🖤
But the work isn’t done yet…
Now they turn their focus to the District Tournament Championship and are back on the court Wednesday against the winner of Estancia vs. Tucumcari.
We are incredibly proud of these young ladies and their hard work, grit, and determination.

On February 9th, the Clayton Powerlifting Teams (boys and girls) competed in Logan. Athletes compete within their respective weight classes and are scored based on their total lift, which is the combined weight of the Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift.

🎶🐝 Clayton Band Students Shine at SENMMEA Solo & Ensemble Contest! 🐝🎶
On Saturday, February 7, 2026, the Clayton Band Program had several students compete at the Southeast New Mexico Music Educators Association (SENMMEA) District Solo and Ensemble Contest, held at Portales High School in Portales, New Mexico.
Students performed individually for a judge and received ratings based on their performances. The rating scale is as follows:
I – Superior | II – Excellent | III – Good | IV – Fair | V – Poor

At the conclusion of the contest, each judge selected an Outstanding Soloist for their room. The judge our students performed for selected Marci Victory as the Outstanding Soloist of the Day.
